I am a passionate share industry specialist with 24 years of experience. I'm driven to deliver excellence and guarentee reliable service delivery to issuers, shareholders and beneficiaries.
In 1992 I joined the Consolidated Share Registrars Limited (sub company of Anglo American), as an Assistant Administrator, for the Anglo American / De Beers Group Employees Shareholder Trusts. Both Trusts had more than 250 000 employees.
In 1999, we were bought by Computershare Investor Services Limited. I was promoted as an Operational Relationship Manager. I continued looking after the above two trusts and 35 other companies. These included Anglo Gold Limited - now Anglo Gold Ashanti, SAB Miller, Anglo American plc and De Beers Consolidated Mines Limited before and after the delisting. My responsibilities included attending meetings with the Company Secretaries on a monthly basis to discuss the required services. This opportunity exposed me to many situations and increased my experience as I was further involved in the delisting of De Beers, the listing of AngloGold Limited and the merging of AngloGold Limited and Goldfields Ashanti-Ghana to AngloGold Ashanti Limited.
In 2005, Anglo American Plc moved to Ultra Registrars (now Link Market Services). Ultra Registrars offered me a job as an Operational Relationship Manager. I carried on with the full administration of both the schemes and De Beers. I was also involved in listing Mondi Limited and Mondi Plc.
In 2008, I was offered a position as the Head of Admistration at Symphony Investor Communications (Pty) Ltd. My duties included heading the Tracing and Lost Share Certificates Departments, marketing and organising the day-to-day running of the business and other office duties.
In 2015, I was promoted to Director due to my loyalty and committment to the company. I worked for Symphony up until the 16th January 2017.
I have since decided to challenge my abilities and reach for a new potential in the Share Industry, providing a reliable service to those that need it.
